Savannah loves shoes! She loves to take them off and she tries really hard to put them on! On this day she thought somebody needed to put them on! She tried, then threw them to me, then scarlet walked by and she needed some shoes!

Fountain fun!!

I finally took Savannah to play in the fountains at the outdoor mall. I was worried it might scare her but she loved it! She especially loved watching all the bigger kids running around! It might become a regular thing. In the evening they have bands that come and set up and lots of street performers entertaining the crowds. During the daytime they just have a radio playing. Savannah started dancing in the fountains but by the time I got the video out on my new phone she'd stopped!!

Also, Savannah said to tell Nana, "Happy Birthday!!!"

Riding Fun!!

Much to Momma's disapproval, Savannah got to ride on a baby 4-wheeler at a friend's house and she's a natural!! This was her first ride, she did even better on her 2nd ride at another friend's house! Daddy was loving it! I think she'll have her own by the end of the week!

Sliding Fun!

Savannah has grown up so much lately! She loves to play games with you!! Peek-a-boo, patty cake, chase, telephone, and sliding are some of her absolute favorites! This is a video of her going down her baby slide we got her for her birthday. She's so good at it now that we've started taking her down the big slide in the back yard. I'll try to get a video up of that soon. We do dress her, most of the time, but in this video she's rockin' the diaper. We'd just gotten up for the day and she escaped while I was dressing her. Ran to the back door and we just couldn't resist a few slides before we went inside to get dressed!

Cake Smash!!

On Saturday Savannah got to dig into another birthday cake! My friend, Beth, let us come to her house and use her white seamless backdrop to take a TON of pics of Savannah for her cake smash session! Together, we have over 1200 pics!! So, it might take a while to get through all of them! But so far this is one of my favorites and I wanted to share it!

The first first of the weekend!

We stopped at Lambert's on the way to the beach. It's always been a favorite of ours and we thought we'd share it with Savannah! She LOVED it! There's so much action that Savannah just couldn't take the time out to look at what she was eating! She ate her entire grilled cheese sandwich turned around looking at the dining room and all the people. I think she could have stayed there forever!

Summer Fun

It's been a while since my last post. We've been having all sorts of fun! Savannah is so close to walking now! She's started letting go of things and trying to take a step or two. We've seen her take up to 2 steps but hasn't just taken off yet! It's so close!!

She now says Momma, Daddy, dog, cat, drink, book, and lots of other stuff that we're not smart enough to figure out yet.

Last weekend we went to visit Boss and Bebe and they had 2 litters of labs! Savannah was on puppy overload! She had so much fun with all the "dawgs" (her favorite word). More pics to come later.
Savannah has decided that she's going to be a picky eater. She used to would eat anything she could get in her mouth (ANYTHING!) but now she's a little particular! Although, she does change her mind when she gets hungry enough!!

Shane called on his way home from work one day and told us to go outside and look up in the sky! This was what we saw!

Savannah was at a playdate in this pic. We try to go to playdates at least twice a week. Some weeks we go every day!

G'Day Mate!

After the boys' graduation we went to the lakehouse for the weekend. We were worried the weather would keep us off the water but it turned out to be a perfect boating day on Sunday!! The neighbor had a Savannah sized life jacket so we coated her up with sunblock and headed out to the water. Savannah loved it!! We stayed on the lake for a good 3 hours.

They did it!!

My little twins are all grown up!! And their not so little anymore!! This past weekend we went to their high school graduation. Hard to believe I was giving them baths 16 years ago!!

Pool time!! Well, almost!!

We finally got to fill up the little baby pool that we bought Savannah. She put on her bathing suit but the water was too cold for her to get in. But she was still too cute!

She still loves to swing!! She giggles every time she swings forward!

As long as she's sitting in the swing she's content to just chill!
