Bathtime

I wanted to get some good shots of Savannah in the bathtub today to frame and put in the bathroom. But once I got up there I realized my flash batteries were dead. So I just took some pics anyway. I'll try for some better ones later... but she still looks cute in them!

Ponytail

I put Savannah's hair in her first ponytail today. It sure makes her look different! She wasn't all that excited about the process of putting it up. I doubt it'll be our style of choice... at least not for a little while. But it keeps it out of her eyes pretty good! Sorry the pics aren't that great.

Too much fun...

Savannah was playing with her toys in the floor yesterday and just couldn't play anymore...

Christmas with Boss and Bebe

We went to Boss and Bebe's house for Christmas on Dec 27. Bebe decorated her Christmas tree in all pink for Savannah. It was so pretty and Savannah loved it.
Bob approves.
Some shots of Savannah playing with Bebe. Somehow, they all ended up being close ups.

Drinking from her newest sippee cup.
Savannah opening some presents. This glow worm is amazing! We're pretty convinced that it somehow hypnotizes babies with some strange mixture of music, lights flashing, and subliminal messages. However it does it, it puts Savannah to sleep immediately. She can be crying and we push the glow worm's belly and she automatically stops, lays her head down, and goes to sleep. I highly recommend getting one if you have a baby that you'd like to go to sleep a bit easier.

Savannah got a new cheerleader outfit. She didn't help the Falcons any. We dressed her in it for the playoffs.
She loves to rip that paper!

Savannah saying bye to Uncle Bob. We didn't get a good shot of her with Aunt Becky. We'll have to get together again soon to get that one.
Group shot.
This one seems a little more accurate.

Snow!

It's snowing! Not enough to take a picture yet. But it's pretty to watch. Too bad Savannah is sleeping right through it!

Meme's Christmas

I'm just now getting the rest of my Christmas pics up. We had Meme and JJ's Christmas on Dec. 26th. Savannah had so much fun playing with all her cousins. She thought Grace was the best thing ever, Grace didn't exactly return the feeling. But they had fun anyway.

Lauryn... finally got her pic!!

Dad in white shirt. Check. Baby in red dress. Check. Bloody Mary. Check. Yep, it's Christmas.
David and Luke. Michelle and Grace. (Playing with the lens hood.)
Luke is really excited to have his pic taken.Melissa got Savannah this super pretty sippee cup. Her first one!! Nobody even showed her how to use it, she opened it and immediately put it in her mouth. We went out the next day and bought her some more and she hasn't put them down yet!
We had so much fun watching Savannah open her presents!
Here's Melissa thinking hard about how to not let me go home with the giant picture frame. It looks really good hanging on the wall!!
The Sims clan. (Meme, no need to print this one out I'm sending you one in the mail. Same goes for everyone else in it!)
Stay tuned. One more Christmas to go! Pics soon.

Nana and Papa's Christmas

After Santa came to our house we drove up to Nana and Papa's for Christmas up there. Savannah has so much fun! She loves to open presents... and even more, she loves to eat!! She had some of Nana's mashed potatoes and loved every second of it!

Here's what Brawney thought about sharing his Christmas present opening duties with Savannah...
Papa got Savannah this hat. She's ready for the pontoon now.

Brawney's refusing to participate unless he gets to open something.
Okay Brawney, you can help. (Brawney's favorite thing is opening presents. He usually gets to help open every present but this year he had to wait his turn. He didn't like waiting.)
Savannah loves baby dolls!! She's still mesmerized by this one that Santa brought her.

JJ even got down in the floor to help Savannah play with her toys.
My mom and I bought this outfit last Christmas right after I found out I was pregnant. We didn't know what we were having then, but we figured a girl would look better in the Santa outfit than a boy would look in the Mrs. Clause outfit. I think we were right!
