I really really hoped that this was going to be an Onion article.
personally, I think they're trying to make a point. Joe Francis is an idiot, but Larry Flynt is smart enough to know he won't get the money (and I don't think for a second he thinks he'll get it- they aren't even in financial trouble.)
the point is, congress opened the door for anyone to ask when the bailed out wall street. unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your point of view), everyone doesn't have lobbyists paying for the best government money can buy (democrats and republicans alike) on their side.
when I read the article, I had to laugh... good stuff.
